Padres end Mets’ 9-game run at home (AP)

Mat Latos outpitched Johan Santana, and the San Diego Padres stopped New York’s nine-game home winning streak by beating the Mets 4-2 on Thursday in the opener of a day-night doubleheader. Adrian Gonzalez had three hits for the surprising Padres, including a go-ahead single. David Eckstein and Chase Headley each hit RBI doubles.

Trainz - Double Header (remastered)...I decided to improve on the original version of this while I work on Part 3 of episode 2 in TROB.This is not a new episode but a tweak on my original version of Double Header; I was not happy with the narration from the original being too loud due to faulty speakers so I have now improved on that and in addition I've decided to use the opportunity to experiment with sounds from real locos for this remastered version so yes there are some differences too :) Plot: After returning from London the Fat Controller gives Gordon a rest. James is asked to pull the express while Gordon is resting; he gets very conceited about it . Meanwhile Toby runs out of water and is marooned on the mainline and James is furious that he has to push him all the way to the works but at the same time he gets his own comeuppance when Boys tease him about Toby helping him to pull the train making James even more cross!
